He also didn’t even know how much not having real fans in the stands would have an effect on his performance. He feeds off energy from the fans. Not having that extra boost can affect a player’s performance.

Are you just making stuff up now? I’m not saying Trout is awful. Just doesn’t seem like himself. He’s not putting up the same kind of numbers this year as last.

Making excuses for Trout is pathetic. He's the highest paid, most honored player in the game. Heathy and in his prime. He has to be held accountable and scrutinized every game. And carry the team on his shoulders with production and leadership. He doesn't get a pass because he has the highest burden to carry.  If he morphed into a sensitive snowflake then there are deeper problems to deal with. 

This arguably is or will be the most disappointing season in franchise history. 

A team with a half dozen proven stars who collectively crumple under adversity. What a horrid mess the salary cap is in. Rewarding the past but soft and gutless going into the future. 

A severe change of philosophy is need with no damn owner interference.

They’re completely out of the race now. Might as well go 20-40 overall and get a top 3 pick. Need to go 11-19 the rest of the way or worse. Very doable for this group

I really like this Kumar kid, talk about a tank, not holding out hope for first round pick though as this offense will win a handful of games by mistake in the coming month, and we can't really afford to throw games as other rebuilding teams would, as we uberly expensive have hitting assets vying for regular playing time.  Any solid ace quality pitcher with a solid slider and mid 90s fb should be our number one priority.  I would be ecstatic for a top 3 pick.
