The article covers what the possible options are for people who as a consequence of our dog shit healthcare structure don’t have medical coverage.  You’re just presuming that the hospitals are going to engage in fraud to get money from the feds.  Thus exaggerating death totals.  Which is part of the implication that covid19 is exaggerated fake news.  And let’s not kid ourselves here.  What that idea boils down to is that people who are already weaker or sick are less of a concern and if they die they die.

I don't want to support the conspiracy theorists on this but I'm sure hospitals are doing this sort of thing all the time. In talking with my doctor friend this week about some of my sisters issues he pointed out that he believes her condition is often under diagnosed because insurance companies are less likely to cover her treatment. He often sees similar patients with different, related, inaccurate and regularly covered diagnosis.

Another consequence of an incredibly bad system that should be burned to the ground.   It is what it is.  Sick people, even those who can’t pay should be treated.  Audit the hospitals to the greatest extent that you can.

I’m just criticizing the idea that the number of deaths are fake numbers.  I’m as critical of anyone on this board of the way healthcare is done in this country.  Nobody needs to convince me that the administrative people in hospitals or the health insurance companies or the pharmaceutical industry are loaded with criminals. 
 

I’ll be really frank, I think anyone who’s business is the exploitation of human misery should be put up against a wall.  That’s what I think of those people.
