Blake Parker's first 17.1 innings: 1.04 ERA, 0.92 WHIP

Blake Parker's next 5.1 innings: 15.20 ERA, 2.30 WHIP, 5 HRs

Meanwhile, fellow Twins reliever/former Halos reliever Mike Morin in 13.2 innings still has a 1.32 ERA and 0.81 WHIP.

How much longer will that last?

My hunch is that’s ultimately why we parted with Parker...Eppler and Co. saw something that led them to think he was getting too susceptible to the long ball and he was a time bomb.

Morin I actually could see doing well awhile. He had the pieces in place to be a good reliever, just couldn’t put it together all at once. Sometimes it takes reliever longer. I don’t expect him to be *that* good, but he could be a solid reliever for a couple seasons straight and I wouldn’t think twice of it.

His problem was he couldn't stay healthy. 19 total appearances over the past 2 years

If only Trout had as much personality and passion as Bryce Harper, he'd be just as popular.

If we had signed Harper the Angels would be averaging 36,958 in paid attendance instead of 36,901...    So much for Arte Moreno, the marketing genius.

Even his last 30 games look good.

.252/.315/.513/.828 OPS, with 6 doubles, 8 homers, 11 walks, 12 strikeouts in 127 PA.

Also, am I seeing this right? Albert hasn't played DH in one month? May 12th?

Seeing as he sucks as a DH, that's good news

I didnt want machado, but wouldnt have been upset if we signed him. Would have given us something to watch.

The crazy thing is, the idea was to have him play 3B. Who would have thought la stella would work out better?...

Lou.

That SOB is freakin amazing.
