Can’t see it at all for now.   The schedule is ridiculous until the ASB.

Twelve games are a lot to make up, when the M’s are living a charmed life.   LeBlanc has a low 3.00s ERA?   Really? Really? Really?

3.19 ERA. An FIP of 3.88. Striking out nearly 7 per 9, walking less than 2 per 9 and running a .277 BABIP against.

Nothing about his numbers jump out as fluky.

M's starters have gone deep in games. And then we hand the game (usually close ones) over to Edwin who has basically been disgusting.

Not sure what this charmed life is. Maybe charmed because we're doing all this WITHOUT Cano?

It’s charmed because of your record in one run games.

A win is a win. But yes our record would look different if that category was not the way it was, but thankfully, for us it isn't. The team loves to fight back and do just enough to win games.

And did anyone TRULY expect Leake, Gonzales, and especially LeBlanc to pitch like they have????

Leake hasn't pitched that well, he is right around career norms. Gonzales was a former first round pick and high rated prospect who had TJ issues. LeBlanc ... no.

The M’s are 25 games above .500 because of smoke and mirrors. We are a .500 team because of injuries.

There is one difference between the 2014 Halos and 2018 M’s.

The Halos had no one beyond Trout put up an .800+ OPS.   There was balance, but no one else really stood out.

The M’s have what, 4 guys with an .800+ OPS.

Without looking ... 3 off the top of my head. Cruz. Segura. Haniger.

Seager hasn't been great at all offensively. Zunino is a black hole. Healy is probably close to .800. Ben Gamel is probably close, but splits time with Span (who has been great since we picked him up) now that we got him, Colome on the other hand ..... yuck.

Cano was over .800, but well yeah.

I believe the Angels will go on a 20 wins of 25 games - run this season. I hope that will be enough to get us back into this.

Even with Trout the Angels are middle of the pack in AVG, OBP, SLG, with a decimated pitching staff, and a manager perhaps gliding to retirement.  None of this suggests an imminent, prolonged winning streak.

All that being said, M’s fans still have to go home to Seattle.

While many Angel's fans are able to go home to the great Sanctuary State of California, recently ranked #50 in quality of life in U.S. states (yup, the bottom).

Keep in mind, the Mariners are an older team, they have finally put together this season. Don't expect this again in '19.

Houston is older than us in average age. You think that is gonna slow them down? Age is literally the dumbest thing to go by.

Ranked by rednecks, probably.  Have you been to Seattle?  How does all that rain not wash away all that filth?  It’s like a smaller, grosser and less cultured version of San Francisco, which is essentially a toilet with fog.

And please. Seattle is Facking beautiful in the summer. Your rain comment is really quite exaggerated. It hardly ever rains in the summer. Other seasons ... sure. Mountains, forests, oceans, rivers .... all right by us.
