I'll never forget a game I attended where he left Lackey in to give up six runs before he even got somebody up in the pen.

Except this is nothing like that.  And if it was typical Sosh, you would have bitched when he pulled Richards after the first hit of the inning.

Wasn't that like Lackey's last start as an angel?  And Lackey was pissed because it raised his era before free agency?

I don't bitch when he pulls Richards, knowing there's an ever-present chance of his arm falling off.

With Richards I'll always make an exception.
