I know this may be stupid to bring up but I just thought this was very interesting and if it's already been brought up the thread can be deleted.

I noticed that there was an eerie similarity with Anderson's first 7 games to Perci's first 7 in the bigs.

Percival : 4.26 ERA, 6.1 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 HR

Anderson : 4.26 ERA, 6.1 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 9 K, 1 HR

It may be nothing but it's just strange that a guy very Percival like would sport almost the same numbers.

I cant picture anderson carrying a gun and beating the shit out of his neighbor and or mailman with a bat. And having an uncle that could get you an off the books Mac-10.

Dont see the connection with percy.

Escalation, meet thread. Thread, meet escalation.

That happened fast.

Lets be honest.

Andersons neighbors would be glad to talk to us about anderson.

Percys's neighbors would say "dont know what youre talkin' about, mister. There aint no percy here and there never was!" As they slammed the door in our face.

Definitely not disagreeing, I can't possibly know exactly what went down.

The one related thing I've always believed is that those that think that professional athletes are/must be role models are delusional. Sounds great in theory until you really break down the nuances of what tends to happen when you give a late teens/early 20s dude generational wealth.

Lol, I was just making random comments. Percy always struck me as a sort of "riverside" blue collar dude who would (even with a world series ring) pistol whip you at a carls jr if you pissed him off.

That said, he did say he was packing a gun during the world series because he got threats.

Still one of my top 5 fave angels all time. That scowl when he looked in for the sign...quick delivery...percy was badass.

I never heard about this side of Troy. Sounds like he and Bobby Jenks coulda had fun together.

You are not allowed to start an Interesting Facts thread. This belongs in the Wait. Shit. thread where all the interesting facts go.

I dug even deeper and found they have eerily similar yelp reviews of Pedros Tacos in San Clemente.

Percival: "Great tacos at this cool little place."

Anderson: "Cool place with great tacos."

The subtle genius of this post is brilliant.
