Richards is the best pitcher and I expect that will come through

Bridwell won't get regular work and there's video on him now. I expect batters to force him to throw a ton of pitches

Given the chance, Tropeano could settle nicely into the middle of the rotation

Heaney looked good then the elbow flared up. Maybe he won't be able to pitch from the 1st base side afterall

Overall I see them getting shelled enough times to stay out of the top 5 but with strong defense behind them and a likely quick hook they'll be solid

If Heaney can stay healthy (big if) he will be dominant for us. Richards is the same thing. Tropeano and Ramírez can be very solid while Skaggs might have a tough time all year with flashes of what he could be. Ohtani will be fine. Might take a bit for him to get there but his stuff is incredible. Once he puts it together he can be dominant too

1. Richards the best season for sure.  I say top 5 in Cy Young voting.

2. Skaggs the worst season.  He really concerns me.

3. 6-10

4. Ramirez with biggest surprise.  Last season wasn't a fluke.  He will build on it this year.  Honorable mention to Heaney, but the inflammed elbow dropped him out of the top spot for me.

5. Skaggs the biggest disappointment.

1. Richards because I don't have much confidence in the rest and he has done it before

2. Ohtani

3. 11-15 I dont think we will have the health and are going to be similar to last year finding randoms....

4. Skaggs

5. Ohtani I think the expectations from the rest of the league and here are just too high for someone young and who hasn't pitched in a year

GRich could be poised for say a 15 win season (around 29 starts) with a 3.00 ERA.

Bridwell reminds me of 1970's Paul Hartzell, who also disappeared not too long after a solid and surprising rookie season in 1976.   Lack of Ks catches up.

Middle of the pack in team ERA

Tropeano dominated in ST, and has good stuff.

Skaggs will again tease, but either injury or ineffectiveness will win out.   I just wonder if his body isn't strong enough for the rigors of a MLB season.

1. If Richards stays healthy, he will dominate this season.

2. I think Ohtani will struggle as he adjusts to the MLB.  I expect him to be sent down to AAA at some point.

3. 6-10 (closer to 6 than 10)

4. Richards staying healthy and finally giving us the season we have expected from him will be the biggest and best surprise.

5. Ohtani will be the biggest disappointment as it will take him longer to pitch effectively at the MLB level than we all hoped.  Like stated above, I expect him to be sent down to AAA at some point.

The bullpen will be the biggest disappointment. Ohtani will struggle early but by the break he should be decent. Skaggs and Heaney have to stay healthy(what are the odds) and I think Shoe will have a very good season. The other big disappointment will be the six man rotation. Taking that many starts away from Richards could cost the team too many wins.

1. Richards, has the best stuff in the Starting Staff not name Ohtani. He's in my Top 5 pick for Cy Young

2. I think most of our guys will pitch to there career norms.

3. number 7

4. Skaggs, I think he's going turn some heads. Expecting about 30 starts and 3.50-3.60 Era with 160-175 inning

5. Bridwell

This is how I voted as well. Reality is about to kick him in the nether region.

Richards will finally show us what he is about and become a true Ace.

Tropeano will come into his own.

Ohtani will get better and better as the season goes on.

Who the hell knows what Skaggs will do.

I agree.

Is that how this works? Or did I do it too early on Tuesday instead of Thursday?

These rules get me so confused sometimes. :D
