It’s a semi automatic 9MM and functions just like a Glock. Looks scarier though

Looks like it was a Mac10.

Depending on if he had it before 1994, and since it's a Mac and not a RFB, it would be prior to 1981, then an automatic is very possible.

Mac 10 shoots .45 cal and the 11 shoots 9MM. Otherwise they are the same gun. police said it was a semi-auto

Read the article, read the wiki.

The firearm wrestled away from the suspect at a second dance studio in nearby Alhambra was a “9 mm caliber semiautomatic MAC-10 assault weapon,” Luna said.

New details on airline worker sucked into plane engine

A National Transportation Safety Board review of a New Year’s Eve incident in which a ground crew worker was killed at an airport in Alabama after being sucked into the engine of a plane says the aircraft "shook violently" as it shut off with a "bang."

Hmmmm.....I'm not sure this story is political in nature

How are all these shootings happening in California? I thought we had the strictest gun control laws?

Gun deaths per capita by state.

Sorry for the crappy quality of the screenshot. If you click on it, it's higher resolution.

California’s gun violence statistics have nothing to do with guns and everything due to demographics. Drill down on the numbers and you’ll see white suicides are included. Remove the suicides and you’re going to see very violent black populations.

Looks like the Monterey Park shooter had an extended clip and a homemade silencer on his gun.  It would not surprise me if it's also modified to full auto or at least burst mode.  Would account for a handgun doing so much damage.

But those are illegal! Didn’t the murderer know that?!!!
