The Angels are marketing Bud Norris and David Hernandez and are expected to move them before the deadline.

I hope they do trade Norris and Hernandez, but I'm still not expecting to get much back in return.

Surprised we haven't heard Petit's name included in those rumors.  I expect that Maybin will get moved as a waiver deal in August.  As expected, doesn't seem Escobar has much value.

Red Sox have had previous interest in Hernandez but may be out after Reed addition. Dodgers could make a play for Angels guys too.

Even if they don't get much in return it's a smart trade. They were ST invite guys, so anything is a plus.

#Angels are working on a variety of deals, not only trading their major leaguers for prospects. Could add a major leaguer too.

Angels need to come out of today with at least 2 front line starters and 2 impact bats while trading away Valbuena, Norris, Hernandez, Petit, Escobar, and Revere. Get it done Eppler or else

I was totally surprised that Hernandez was in the position he was when the Angels picked him up.  His career numbers seemed solid to me.

Interesting about Panik. I'd like to see a play for a 2b then move Cowart back to 3rd. All we'd have is left field and pitching in the offseason

 MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand tweets that Petit is also generating interest. The 32-year-old has tossed 60 2/3 innings with a 2.52 ERA, 9.5 K/9, 1.8 BB/9 and a 34.4 percent ground-ball rate this season in a multi-inning role.

Fun fact: In 2017 David Hernandez and Addison Reed have nearly identical K-BB% splits! Reed has the longer history of course but in 2017 they have been relatively identical in that important peripheral (both control guys too). Of course Addison will get the larger haul but David isn't too shabby! This of course explains why the analytically inclined Red Sox were also looking at David before picking him up.
