I really like the guy, it's too bad he had to sign with the Stankees.

He's fine, but I like Maybin better.  He's younger, speedier and I love the OBP he brings.

LHP Tyler Skaggs expects to return around 7/8 or 7/9. Expects to return to DL around 7/9 or 7/10.

You know what? I agree with you. I like Maybin a lot. I feel like he has not been appreciated enough around these parts, or maybe he has and I've just been missing it. But the dude always seems to come through and I like his defense. Holliday is just one of those overpaid older guys that just grinds. Used to play the outfield, but now they just want him to stay healthy and hit. But I do like him as a ballplayer.

The Angels are 8-7 since Mike Trout was injured. Center fielders are batting .311 (14 for 45) since the injury.

Them being .500 right now is remarkable IMO. Going into the season, I thought this team's only shot at competing would be if Richards/Skaggs/Shoe were healthy all year long. 2/3 of those guys are out for all or most of the year and Shoemaker has only been average. Add in Bedrosian missing most of the season so far, Escobar missing time and now Trout missing a month and IDK how they are staying afloat
