When the F did the Yankees acquire all these young studs (plus Holliday). Did they just get lucky in recent drafts?

On positive note I've seen Pineda give up 6 plus runs in 4 innings or less plenty of times last few years.

they did this weird thing where they started focusing on scouting and player development.  All kinds of kookie.

Sanchez is an international free agent signed in 2009. (We got Baldoquin that way.)

Judge is the 32nd pick of the 2013 MLB draft. The Angels top pick that year was Middleton in the second round.
