So many of the tax increases whether they're for gas/education/whatever say in the fine print a portion of the funds end up in the general fund which is essentially used like a piggy bank for pet projects, to buy votes and so on.  I don't smoke or drink soda and I think taxing those items while not surprising is shady because it's just one more way to squeeze money out of people.  Since I still have to walk by people who are smoking/vaping and so many of the cigarette smokers can't seem to throw the butts into a trash can when they're all over the place I'm fine if they want to tax those aholes.

Wrong answer Arch. This is governmental overreach that can't survive the courts. Or at least shouldn't. There is no equality in this law where a business has to have a quota of men on the board as well. It's just another reason for corporations to flee the State, which if they cite this as a cause I'm in full support.

That doesn't/won't speak very highly of that company, imho.

qualification for the job should far outweigh gender, otherwise you're just filling quotas, and that could be to the detriment of company, consumer, or both.
