Buzzfeed absolutely knows that story is BS, 100 percent. They of course are not going to say it but come on. When publishing it they just have to say to the best of their ability they don't know if it's true or false but the public deserve to read it blah blah blah. Common sense also says this will be damaging to him regardless of if it's true or not. In this instance there is simply nothing the Donald can do, doesn't seem right to me, there's simply something wrong with that picture no?

I like how that NPR piece also has Trump quoted saying the absolute last thing he wants to do is impede free press. I don't think tightening up a useless law a bit is impeding upon it.

Buzzfeed didn't create the memo. They reported that it was circulating around Washington. As far as we know that's true. You can't spend your lifetime lowering the bar then get bent out of shape when someone else goes a step lower.

Stories on golden showers are stupid, but funny. I'd say the stories on HRC and child porn were a tad lower.

But yes, MAGA is correct. You can put the details as uncorroborated, etc., but the average human only takes the headline concept to heart that X did Y. Yellow (river) journalism at its finest.

No, there is nothing wrong with that picture. If public figures were allowed to sue for every negative, false thing ever said about them, every publication would be gun-shy about publishing anything negative about any public figure, even if it could be true.

You have to admit that the establishments that were once a beacon of free speech (hippie U) becoming their own reflection of fascism in regards to speech is concerning. Even more so in the UK universities with the outright banning of tabloid newspapers recently. The cumulative effect of this along with the complete selling out of corporate media and the right...being the right but more so is terrifying.

im not really sure what it means, rally. on one hand hand you've got a bunch of delusional, wimpy kids who think everything is offensive. OTOH you've got the PEOTUS, a man in his late 60s who lived through the civil rights era, wanting to impose limitations on free speech. it's some kind of bizarre combination and i'm not really sure what to make of it.
