I don't think there has been a single speculative tweet or report prior to any signing or trade we have made this offseason. I know Maldonado, Chavez, Bailey, Maybin, and Espinosa don't draw the same headlines as Chapman, Turner, etc., but neither will Logan, Howell, Blevins, Holland, Feliz, Henderson, Cahill, Feldman, Hochevar.

There is zero reason to believe Eppler isn't working on the bullpen as we speak and at any given moment it's announced we've signed one of the above.

I also think Street is going to be fine. Maybe not dominant, but plenty effective.

I see Huston only being used as a closer.  I can't imagine he would lose that job to Cam or Bailey.  If he does, it's because he's completely and utterly ineffective and frankly has no part being in the pen at all.  If he's even mildly capable, he will be our closer.  Not a huge fan of the save stat or save conversion rate, but Street is one of those guys where I think it applies.  Even is his era is in the mid 3s, just get the job done.  In 2013-2015, he blew 10 saves in 124 opps.  I think I could handle that for 2017 because it would then give Bedrosian and Bailey the freedom to work in specific situations.  Still a loogy and another solid arm short of potentially being capable though.

I could actually see Street retiring if he comes back, is ineffective and loses his closer job.

100% agree. I would prefer to have him hold the 9th and utilize Cam elsewhere, and I agree that there's a very real chance he'd retire abruptly as well.

I was just thinking that if I made millions and was shopping for toys, I'd probably go to Toys R Us, not Target. No biggie ukyah.

Everyone in Austin goes to Target for everything. I had to look up and see if we even had a Toys R Us still.

Since Choi clears waivers do the Angels have to put him on their 40 man roster? I think he is out of options so I think they do

He was actually DFA'd to take him off the 40-man roster. I could be mistaken but since he is out of options and is now in the Minors I believe he can elect Minor League free agency if he wants. However there is a reasonable chance he could start in 2017 if Pujols isn't ready.
