i can't imagine too many people are really surprised at the outcome of this investigation, especially after the "hey,  you're here too? what a coincidence!" meeting on the tarmac last week.

but i have faith in slimy hilary. she will somehow manage to be involved next week in something else, something that continues to show the great depths of slimyness she's gone to, and something that her supporters will dismiss as just another witch hunt by her opponents.

The FBI’s recommendation did not come as a surprise to lawyers who closely follow issues involving classified information. Many of them were surprised to learn of Clinton’s private email server, but they also thought it did not rise to the level of criminal offense.

She wasn't prosecuted...because as Comey laid out, what they did was careless, but not illegal. For folks who actually paid attention to the whole saga...she was never going to be indicted, it was pretty obvious based on the leaks about the investigation...the fact that news organizations and pundits kept flogging this idea that she would be indicted were smoking the same "just one more email...just one more investigation" Clinton crap that's been going on for 20+ years.

This doesn't absolve the stupid decision making, or carelessness, or the ability of the Clinton's to look at a situation and say...the optics of choice b is the worst...so let's do that. It's simply to point out that there never was going to be an indictment and the clap louder crowd does everyone a disservice by continuing this charade. Whitewater, Travelgate, Vince Foster, Benghazi, email-a-pooloza...what did I read this morning...oh yeah, someone complaining that Bill Clinton had a sex slave airplane...it never ever stops.
