What places do you refuse to eat?

Homebrewer is a man that knows how to eat meat.

We raise goats. We single out two bucks each year and have them professionally done by high quality butchers and vacuum sealed by cuts. We trade with neighbors that do the same with steers and pigs.

So yeah...I do know my meat.

I have eaten at that one on Lavar Rd many times.  Right before the grapevine.

Also, like Waller said, that is totally a reality series.  I was watching something called Alaska the last frontier which was almost exactly what you described.

I lived in Alaska from 80 to 95. Commercial fished and worked for an Airline up there.. Wien Air Alaska...predates Alaska Airlines.

The reality show fascination with Alaska amazes me..all the gold and fishing and cop shows from up there.

They are all so successful.

People in the lower 48 seem to be starving for that stuff.

I have to say, most of it is pretty real. I guess there are so many people that cant imagine living like that makes it interesting to them.

I watch them to see how much the places I know, have changed in the last decade.

Just for the record, I will not eat ANY fast food except In N Out. I commute between Socal and Yosemite, and know every In n Out between Merced and the Simi Valley.

Best one is at Lavar Road just So of Bakersfield.

i know that one.  It's right next to a Del Taco , right?

Yeah, I think you are right.  When headed South it is that whole huge group of restaurants and truck stop before you head into the mountains.

The one we have here in Arcadia is good.  It is one of the better ones I have eaten at.

I think I ate at that one just last time down there. Off the 210 near Santa Anita??

Had a need to feed my pony addiction and knew Santa Anita was open...After a 6 hour drive, a good place to stretch the legs and bet a few races.

Walked out with a 66 dollar profit and a great afternoon of racing.

Yeah it is on Santa Anita just south of the 210.  About a mile from the race track.

I grew up a couple blocks from one of the very first In N Outs.  On Lower Azusa & Doreen in Temple City.

Spent my racetrack profit there.

Paid for the order of the Monrovia cop that was behind me in line.

Always try to keep the karma good!
