Lamar Odom found unconscious in Nevada brothel

Recommended Posts

My wife told me that he had a buddy living with him when he was on the kardashian show who recently OD'd and died.

i just read that too.

it was two friends.

one straight up OD'd.

the other died like the day before that from flesh eating disease from doing too many IV drugs.

chronicles of gnar-nia.

once again, i find it embarrassing for me as an american that i even know who the kardashians are. i don't think there's a family alive that has contributed less to society while gaining more notoriety.

here's hoping lamar somehow pulls through and gets the help he needs, and can then get as far away as humanly possible from this crappy family.

Ten Ocho, how long did it take her to die?

dont know, i left the hospital after i got a statement. But if i remember correctly, it was gonna be like 6 hours or so before toxic shock set in, maybe 2 daysbor so before she was gone.

Ive been to several people who were hurt badly, or a heart attack type of situation, that you and they knew were about to go. Its obviously really sad. This one just always stood out to me becsuse she seemed perfectly fine, and the docs were just like "nothing we can do". Very eerie

I don't get how they knew what's in his system

Everytime someone dies or OD's it always takes weeks or months until we find out exactly what was in their system. All of a sudden they know?

thats more because when you find a dead body, the coroner takes over, body goes to anmorgue and sits for a day or two befor ea doctor can come in and start the procedure. At a hospital with a patient still alive, rhey can still get a blood sample and test it at the lab on site.

It probably still needs to be sent out for a more official test, but they can screwn blood for preliminary results pretty quickly

Sounds like this could have been a suicide, leaving las vegas style.

Some people feown upon suicide (for lack of a better term, i think we all "frown" upon it), but its something you cant understand unless youre that person. Mental health problems are very real. We can all say "guy had a life i wish i had" etc, but if he wasnt right in the head, none of that mattered to him.

I understand that but I believe hospital has yet to release a statement probably due to hippa rules.

I didn't know that you could OD from aspirin. Good to know

Yeah, I did that as an infant. I snuck out of my crib and got into the cupboards and ate a bottle of children's Tylenol. Rushed to the hospital and they forced charcoal down me. Too young to remember everything, but remember the yellow pan they had me throwing up in.

Children's Tylenol != Aspirin.  They are very different in fact.

For one, you never give Asprin to children because of Reys Syndrome.

Tylenol is Acetaminophen which is a pain reliever.  Asprin is a NSAID.

Both are very dangerous in large quantities though.  In many cases more dangerous than other harder drugs.
