Victorino also helps to address Murphy's defensive shortcomings. Like Freese/Beckham/McDonald last year, I figure any time we have the lead late Murphy is coming out for Victorino.

Murphy, mashing RHs this year, has a $7M team option for next year. Will platoon with Victorino in LF.

 

 

I probably would have preferred Parra or Revere over Murphy, but whatever. Murphy/Victorino platoon should be productive
