Murphy, mashing RHs this year, has a $7M team option for next year. Will platoon with Victorino in LF.

I probably would have preferred Parra or Revere over Murphy, but whatever. Murphy/Victorino platoon should be productive

Im happy they didn't go after Parra, he's been average his whole career outside of the past two or three months.

I love what Stoneman did. Victorino/Murphy platoon should be solid and they're great clubhouse guys.

For what it's worth:  Murphy is 3 for his last 32 with 0 extra base hits since july 9th.

Murphy's career MLB numbers are better than Robertson has put up in his career not only in the MLB, but also at AAA and AA.

DeJesus isn't that great, but I guess he becomes the LF platoon with Victorino and Murphy becomes the DH platoon with Cron. That's a hell of an upgrade on the first few months of the year.
