I had stopped for dinner after work and watched through the 8th, came home and clicked on the tv just in time to see Perez hit his walk off. I really would have felt bad if I had missed that.

yeah.  it was very clear that MS was happy with carlos behind the plate.   It was so nice to see a catcher receive a ball without their wrist caving in.

I had stopped for dinner after work and watched through the 8th, came home and clicked on the tv just in time to see Perez hit his walk off. I really would have felt bad if I had missed that.

I turned it off and didn't realize that gameday was up on my computer.  I glanced at it to see that they scored a couple in the eighth and that street had a couple outs.  Did a pit stop and flipped it back on to literally see the pitcher mid wind up and Carlos hit it out.  

 

If they can't get their crap together after that, I don't know what to say.

that is so funny....i did change the channel when they went ahead in the 8th.   when switched it back they were talking after the game and it seemed like the tone was positive (they hadn't said what had happened yet...maybe talking about keeping pace with HOU)  so i hit rewind to watch it and turned out to be a fantastic comeback...could be the thing that gets us going...also with the new catcher.

 

what an awsome game for perez.....turns out only 4 times in mlb history for a game winner in first game.   these are things we usually say about trout every week...some territory he is crossing.
