DiPoto absolutely failed this offseason...there is no argument against it. Staff decimated, pen not upgraded, gutted the only leader on the team, traded away valuable prospects late last year...what am I missing?

I've been pretty vocal about the things I don't like about Scioscia.  However, you can't blame him for Jepsen being a shitty pitcher.  Dude couldn't get an out.  With the pen the way it is I doubt any of them would have gotten an out there.

 

I do understand about holding the manager accountable, but some of it has to fall on the players as well.
