Not to make something out nothing, but this combined with Scioscia's comments yesterday about not even knowing Hamilton's plans for rehab and when he would join camp, and you really get the sense that the org is running out of patience with Hamilton. Sure doesn't seem like a situation that's going to end well.

Moreno was trying to make a big splash in advance of the new television contract. He was looking for big names. We got Pujols and Hamilton. I seriously doubt that Dipoto had anything to do with either signing, and I doubt that Moreno could have been dissuaded. Pujols' contract in particular defies all reason.
