Machi and Lopez preceeded Strickland. Machi gave up a run scoring hit to Butler, was replaced Lopez who got a soft fly out, then Botchy over managed the inning by taking out Lopez and putting Strickland.

Strickland gave up most of the damage

Most of the runners on base were from Peavy (2) and Machi (1). Strickland was not the right guy in that situation, that is on Botchy.

Sorry Blargio but I have to strenuously disagree.

Bochy is a excellent bullpen manager. He also know he bullpen better than anybody. If he had the lead you wouldn't have seen Strickland.

Bochy was playing match ups at the plate.
