And yeah, great idea to pull Trout out of his slump - take him out of the field and give him even more time to think about his ABs.  And give Ibanez another day in LF.  I hate this lineup so much that we're guaranteed to win big.

Well we all agree Trout needs a bit of a breather, this is the best we can do to give him one. In the top lineup we are going without a DH and have two CF that should help give Trout some rest.

Here's my problem with this line up. Three things, first I wouldn't take Trout out of CF on a day that Weaver, a fly ball pitcher pitches. Two, I would put Effren in RF because he likely has no arm. Third, I'd put McDonald at third to help create some outs because Weaver has that occasional inning where the ball gets hit hard. Also since weaver doesn't like all the shifting I just see McDonald having more range.

Even though we have seen this a thousand times, it never ceases to amaze me how Scoscia can f**k up a lineup. Ibanez is still playing, and still hitting cleanup, all while still hitting below .200.

It's called 2-4 weeks when Josh and Kole come back.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Ibanez continues to be the regular DH after they come back.

It will ONLY happen if he starts to hit. He did have three walks his last start.

You have to excuse Scioscia, his mind is preoccupied with whether to select his daughter in the draft.

Let Navarro hit 4th, Ibanez hit 6th, Cowgill 8th, and Stewart 9th. It's not rocket science.
