No shit Chuck or else we would have his job. But I stand by my thoughts on page one that with a fly ball pitcher against a home run hitting team you should have your best defense out there. But I totally get giving Trout a DH day.

Are people seriously worried about Trout? The K's are concerning, but this seems to be his first prolonged slump in two years up at the bigs. He will be fine. Is it more frustration than concern?

I stand by what I said, which is that Ibanez has no business hitting cleanup and Scioscia historically caters to veterans. Can you really disagree with that?

You can't possibly claim that putting a 41 year old and a AAAA first baseman at the corners with an extreme flyball pitcher on the mound, and Ian Stewart anywhere in the starting lineup was a clear sign of Scioscia's superior baseball knowledge.  

 

We're winning despite this goofy lineup, not because of it.
