Angels Acquire Huston Street

If this is the deal, and its sounding like it is the Angels got hosed. Giving up the Middle infield of the future and a possible future closer for a year and a half of Street is just plain stupid i don't care what prospect they get from SD. I cant believe this.

He was traded to Padres straight up for this scrub http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa388834&position=P and then signed an extension in '12 with the Padres.

I thought street was a free agent this off-season, but maybe I am wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

We get a minor leaguer from the Padres system.  Any minor leaguer from their system is better than a top 10 from our system.  This is a great trade.  Ya'll crazy.

Ross is only in A+ ball, so doesn't seem like that would be him.
