Sounds like he's taking a page from the Obama playbook:

I've crossed the GWB 4 times in my life. It's a huge pain in the ass even when it's fully open. They should make these clowns stand on the bridge wearing signs that say "I shut the lane down for personal reasons" and take their chances.

It's interesting that much of the media, which praised Christie to high heaven when he cozied up to Obama after Hurricane Sandy, are now writing his political obituary. The long knives are out in force today.

these actions don't sound at all like something obama would do.

 

i applaud christie for trying to fix this and don't think it should hurt his presidential chances. i mean, if hilary can essentially poke all of us in the eye about benghazi, and get away with it, then this bridge deal shouldn't be a major stumbling block for chirstie.

I'm wondering if the republicans did this end Christie. Its no secret hes their best shot at the white house, but after the Sandy incident the party feels he turned his back on them.  They dont want this guy as president, hes what the people actually want.

He had to say he was sorry.  He got caught red handed.  Either he knew this was happening or he's completely incapable of controlling his own staff.

 

I liked this guy, but I can see others who like this guy already willing to let this go when there is absolutely no way they should.
