Scott I couldn't agree more about the "Kings Court" type situation. It doesn't have to be Tanakatown but a catchy name for a stadium section dedicated to Tanaka would be a blast.

I am guessing we aren't serious suitors for Tanaka. So often with these rumors where there is smoke, there is fire. And here there is no smoke whatsoever linking the Angels to Tanaka. No confirmation of an offer, no confirmed interest, and not even a face-to-face meeting (which surely you would do if you were trying to persuade a guy to pick your team over another).

Don't be disappointed on Wednesday when Tanaka becomes a Yankee.

I'm thinking that the Cubs have made the highest offer but he doesn't want to play for the Cubs so he's waiting on the Dogs and Yanks to see how high they will go.
