Gotta love the offseason. So many contradicting tweets from every possible news source. It's impossible to know who is right or wrong.

Thing is there is the possibility they are all right and/or all wrong. I don't doubt 12 teams are in on our sub-.300 OBP 1B/OF. Makes sense their are a lot of different scenarios being pitched to the Angels FO.

Santiago has good stuff. 92-97 MPH fastball, good breaking ball and decent change.

Trumbo, Aybar, Jepson to AZ for Miley, Skaggs, and Gregorius/Owings.

 

We get pitching, and an Aybar replacement and Arizona gets 2 MLB proven talent and a reliever they need. I'd much rather get Owings over Gregorius, but I wouldn't nit pick.

Something about this just doesn't make sense.  Kendrick won't get Santiago--but Adam Eaton will?  And Trumbo gets Santiago AND Skaggs?  Weird...

He did throw that hard as a reliever, but he averaged 'only' 91.8 on his fastball as a starter last season.

despite tweets i am receiving, trumbo is a very valuable piece. but i would agree, skaggs/santiago would be a coup

Weird, I watched a few of his starts and he was consistently hitting 94-95.
