    The issue with the Howie play was that the catcher blocked the plate You aren't allowed to put your foot down and that's what happened If the C would have left the plate open he would have been safe That's on the review/umps to call him safe

    Have a question - is there a potential sign-and-trade that can be done so we (or another team) wouldn't loose a draft pick if seattle signs him to the deal and then trades him to us for some low level prospect would that work? or is there a rule against it?

We will see I guess I agree with the other poster - I think this is a good trade overall BUT how you do not make a trade to fix your pitching?
