The more I think about it, yesterday's trade is a direct result of the impulse Hamilton deal by Arte.  So, it made me wonder...

Yep. Can't imagine how much better off overall this team would be if they had the all homegrown OF of Trout/Bourjos/Calhoun and all that money freed up from not having Hamilton

 

alas though, this is the direction the team went and are now forced to make deals like this one in order to try and win now...because with this roster, they have no choice but to.

I would rather have Lyman Bostock having a bad year in the OF than the POS Hamilton.  At least Bostock had character, class and humility.

 

As far as Hamilton goes, it is a good thing that Jesus is larger than a baseball or Josh would have swung and missed.

It's not necessarily moot, it does point out how this org has totally muffed on most of its' moves for 4+ seasons back to Kazmir.

Hamilton could have been a dh 4th of. Trading bourjos ensures Trumbo staying not Calhoun playing.

You can't really do this because these moves don't exist in a vacuum.  I dislike the current trade.  I hope it works out.
