An annoying practice that started toward the end of last baseball season, and I really hoped that it would not resume when the season started: Facebook friend, lives in Maine, huge Red Sox fan. Complicating this is she is a new author who I have been doing editing on her first book for. Lets us know whenever the Red Sox game is about to start, every time that they take a lead or hit a home run, and every time that they win. She doesn't seem to realize that everyone outside of New England hates Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots and the Red Sox.
