Cory, I don't think Trout will ever steal 60 bases.

 

Glen, Bryce Harper is doing awesome. His 8.2 fWAR through his age 20 season (so far) is 6th in major league history. Just because he's not Mike Trout (so far) doesn't mean he's not very, very good and going to be great someday.

i hope he doesn't let himself go this winter like he did last winter. he'd probably be hitting close to .600 if he hadn't gained those 50 pounds while doing all that fishing.

Makes me wonder what he can do next year. He looks poised to walk about as often as he strikes out, and he has gone a significant stretch of the season with an OBP over .500. I certainly wouldn't predicted it, but I could see him do it next season under certain circumstances.

possible. there's been an angel at some point in time who's accumulated each of those stats while playing in anaheim except for the .350 avg and maybe the 1.100 ops.
