As we prepare to enter the year 2022 let us all hope that we can come up with a way to create fresh water from sea water. This new alchemy might come in handy for people living in a desert

US nuclear powered aircraft carriers are equipped with their own desalination plants to process their own drinking water. Flip the nuclear reactor over to solar on land and you have a clean energy source. The technology is there and is being applied worldwide.

I-80 Donner Pass near Lake Tahoe.  Just smashed the highest snowfall amount ever recorded in December.  Old record was 179 inches.  New record set yesterday is at 193 inches with 3 days still to go.  Great photo.

I think it would a massive clusterfuck for any place that very rarely gets snow to have 16 feet of it in 3 days.
