From last nights game, there’s video of AD and Dwight Howard getting into an argument during a timeout. AD even shoved him, and several players stroked in to keep it from getting worse. Haven’t seen any explanation for this yet.

LBJ needs to seriously consider retirement after the season, always getting hurt the past year plus, 19th season.

The Vogel magic is gone.

Defense is non-existent.

Pathetic display tonight. Why Russell Westbrook is still allowed to shoot 3 pointers goes beyond all logic. Not the only reason the Lakers blew it tonight but man, he's awful at 3's and just keeps shooting them.

Might need to put a shock collar on Westbrook to dissuade him from stupid shots or early in the shot-clock shots that are stupid.  Vogel, once he has a few more healthy players available, needs to have guys earn minutes with their defensive effort and intensity.

It's odd how someone like AD, who for 3 years running was hitting roughly a third of his 3's, can't hit shit.  It also boggles my mind that someone who has played basketball for 20 years + can't eventually develop a serviceable jumper (f'in Bruins).

How many games has LBJ missed since the beginning of last season?

How can he be counted on?

The start of the season has been very disjointed, very seldom looking like a contender.  And that’s with an easy schedule to start.

So we lose to a bad team without one of the top 2 players on the team (and one of the best in the league) and your solution is to have him retire.

It might be easier to assume this is a .500 team for the first 50 games while they get players healthy (THT, Ariza, Nunn, LeBron?) and figure out how to play together.  I checked in last night and saw that they had Rondo, Melo and Monk all on the floor together.  You couldn't add the 2 best defenders in history to that lineup and come out positive.

Good point, just hope it doesn’t leave them where they were a year ago in the West.   We saw how that ended up.

AD and LBJ may have tons of game.

They also have tons of injuries.

Man what a disastrous decision this is looking like so far by nixing the Hield trade and trading for Westbrook. Could have kept KCP and gotten Hield, both of whom are 3&D guys, shooting 40%+ from the 3. But instead got Westbrook who puts up great all around stats but cancels all of that out and more with horrible 3pt shooting, horrible ft shooting, tons of turnovers and awful defense to a tune of being -4.2 avg/game when he's on the court, 2nd worst on the team.

He is probably a good clubhouse guy and what price can you put on that?
