Sooo, Lebron said practice was great for him the previous days before yesterday, and that he would return either yesterday or today.

And now?   Not playing, how much longer is this going on for????

Just say he’s out for the rest of the regular season and stop leading people on.

It came from his and AD’s own lips, that he looked and felt good in the practices.

Feeling after practice doesn't mean they'll be ready to go the next day for an actual game. That's why you hear guys say that they're going to test it out before the game to see how they feel.

Why do you care if Lebron comes back for meaningless games? Obviously the docs told him the the more rest he gets on the ankle the better.

Once the Blazers win one more game, then they’re meaningless as the Lakers will then clinch being the 7 seed.

Plus can they win in the playoffs with him not playing before they start?   Got to have some cohesion then.

These games may be meaningful in the seeding but are meaningless in the bigger picture, their pursuit of the ring. It doesn't matter whether they are in 6th or 7th as long as Lebron can come back healthy and stay healthy throughout the playoffs. If the Lakers can't win 1 of 2 games against the 8th or 9th seeded teams in the west in the playin then they have no business playing in the playoffs as their stay will be short. 

As far as Blazers winning 1 more game, that game is against the Nuggets, who now control their 1st round match up. A loss to Portland and they are guaranteed to avoid the Lakers. A win, combined with 2 Lakers wins, they would face the Lakers. I'm pretty sure I know what their preference is.

If the Nuggets win today over the Blazers and the Lakers beat the Pels, we'd face the Nuggets in Rd. 1.  If we won the Rd 1 series, we'd likely get the Suns in Rd 2.  Not the worst road if you ask me.

If we lose today, we are at #7 and play GS I believe, heading toward a 1st rounder against the Suns.  Winner of Nuggets/Blazers in the 2nd.  That is assuming a play-in W of GS.

Denver was never going to win this game. They were down by 21 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Gotta win the 7/8 matchup to avoid Jazz and Clippers in the first 2 rounds.

Suns (lack of playoff experience beyond CP3) and Nuggets (PG Murray out for the year) seem to be the two best matchups, and just happen to be the 2 and 3 seeds.

That so far is encouraging.

Drummond will get some run against the Suns (Ayton) but was pretty useless vs. the smaller Warriors.  That will get exploited so I would expect him to be used like Howard/McGee last season.  Pretty frustrating 1st half, much better 2nd half.

AD nailing FTs and two critical 3s

Booker was defended better, even if he did go 17-17 at the line.

Rebounding was good.

Only 7 TOs with 24 assists
