Happy the Lakers won.  Some thoughts:

1) Vogel finally gets his due as a great coach.  He coached some mediocre Indiana teams to the playoffs.  His stint in Orlando was a disaster but look at that roster.

2)Spoelstra is a top 5 coach in the league.  Took a Heat team to the max, 2 games away from the title, where few people expected them to do much. 

3) Butler's exhausted photo from Game 5 reminded me of that photo with Kellen Winslow Sr. being carried off by teammates looking incredibly drained and exhausted.  Butler absolutely gave everything he had to win that series but playing nearly every minute of the finals up to that point took its toll.

4) Alex Caruso is the Lakers' version of David Fletcher.  Not the most physically gifted or talented, but plays hard, does all the fundamentals well and has a high IQ and awareness.

#17 feels really good, but weird in the context of Covid bubble.  No less a chip, but different for sure.  So proud of what this team has accomplished and excited on what tinkering might happen to make us better for 2021.
