1.1 bWAR and 0.7 fWAR so he's been worth his contract this year at least even with the injury.

I don’t know how much credit goes to the catcher but O’Hoppe has called 2 great games in his 2 starts. Only 2 runs allowed.

Made a good hitter like Garcia look like a Little Leaguer.

Who had Rengifo hitting 17 HRs overall, and putting up a high .700s OPS the past 3 months?

  Nevin is doing a horrible job in my opinion, and in my opinion, players are slumping, they’re not being coached well, and not being put in places to succeed. That means that guys hitting .160 who hit .280 last year are doing poorly because of the manager and because of the front office..

Seriously though, can we stop blaming Maddon? The Angels are 13-26 under Nevin. That's a 54-108 pace. 

If anything, I think Maddon would have been better suited to shift the team out of whatever psychological funk they're in.

For all you Nevin supporters, do you just ignore the defense and fundamentals of this team? That 9th inning was a disaster defensively and the lack of execution on basic fundamentals seems like a coaching issue.

...and Nevin has been Terrible. They seemed to forget how to hit. And pitch. And do anything correctly. It's bad lineup decisions, and bad everything.
