I think he pitched that well.  And again, we didn't even see his best slider which is actually a very good pitch that he can throw for strikes.  Enough movement and velo on the fastball that they couldn't square it up.  The key was that he pounded the zone and actually hit his spots.  And they tried to slow him down by stepping out but it didn't matter.  He just stood there all twitchy waiting for the hitter to get in the box.

So we did trade Noe Ramirez for him and "a player to be named later or cash." I cannot for the life of me find out who the player is or if it ended up being cash. I know the Reds were looking mostly just to shed his salary but good God that is an amazing trade for us.
