Braves reliever R. Iglesias, pitching mostly in an eighth-inning setup role, has a 0.93 ERA and 0.83 WHIP in 11 appearances. He has allowed five hits, one run and three walks with eight strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings, and none of the three inherited runners has scored.

He will close for ATL next year.

The New York Yankees placed left-hander Aroldis Chapman on the injured list due to an infection in his leg that stemmed from a tattoo, the team announced Saturday.

The tattoo was a portrait of Chapman's sister, according to YES Network's Michael Kay.

Chapman hasn't pitched since Aug. 19, in part due to his infection, manager Aaron Boone said, according to YES Network's Jack Curry. The skipper doesn't believe it was risky for Chapman to get a tattoo at this point in the season and expects his former closer to pitch again this year

The 44-year-old claims to have collected more than 11,000 stray balls from MLB stadiums, growing his reputation after snagging Alex Rodriguez’s 3,000th career hit and Mike Trout’s first career home run. Hample studies spray charts of hitters in the games he attends, in order to know where best to sit and position himself for home runs and foul balls…
