I mean Maddon couldn’t space out Marsh and Ohtani’s day off? I get there struggling but both of them out of the lineup?

Much needed day off for Ohtani and Walsh. I don't care if their off-days are the same they both needed to be out of the lineup.

That lineup has hit a combined total of 32 HR's this year.

It might look bad, but Ohtani is hitting .167 post ASB and Walsh .185, so apart from the name recognition this line-up might actually do better without them for a game or two. Maybe. Whatever happens I bet the opposing pitcher is doing cartwheels after seeing this line-up, so naturally the Angels being the Angels will probably score ten. Who knows? It's just another fun part of the Angels fan experience. Go Halos!

Ohtani as a hitter is scuffling. Walsh is always struggling against lefties. The day off will do them both good.
