Obviously those great at bats earned Schleber another start while Peter's performance earned him a trip back to AAA.

I'm assuming the Angels called up Hoyt because Peters is a lefty and the Yanks are only rolling with one lefty in the lineup for today's game

Yeah, and they have 4 other lefty relievers on the active roster, so Peters definitely wasn't needed.

...but he did call at least one low-and-away pitch a strike when it clearly wasn't.  It's not all going against the Angels.
