worse.  at least if they did this in spring, guys could experiment with how to grip some of their pitches that might be different from normal.

I honestly didn't even notice Rendon was out of the game.

Win or lose, the fact that we were able to get 5.2 innings of 1-run ball from Hoyt, Claudio and Guerra is pretty incredible and saves the bullpen for the rest of the series.

So...with his latest loss...what should the Angels do with Bundy? Keep hoping beyond hope?

Angels forced the A's to use Diekman and Trivino, who I believe may not be available tomorrow after pitching the last 2 days and 3 of the last 4. Angels managed to get quality innings from their bottom barrel relievers after Bundy only was able to get through 2.1 innings. This is a marathon not a sprint. Let's win the next 2 games and take the series.

This is starting to look like a lost season for Rendon. Just can't get on track at the plate and keeps getting nicked up
