Oh well, we looked good. Some mistakes cost us.

Ducks lost.  But I really liked this game.  They didn't back down at all against the Oilers.

That's life against the Oilers. The D is wretched and the goaltending is so-so but they can flat out fill the net

Way too many power plays for a team like that. Lucky it stayed close.

Even the Hockyguy was saying it was a fun game to watch.  And that if this is what the future holds for the Ducks, and the future looks bright.

On a side note.  Hopefully Shattenkirk keeps scoring.  His trade value can only go up.

Looks like they're losing steam a little bit. What I saw looked a little disjointed. Not expecting much against the Wild or their first game back against the Jets.

That's a shame.  He's worked so hard to get better every season.

Not winning.  But at least they are fun to watch.  So close again.

They played better than I thought they would.

A lot more enjoyable to watch this year than last. I still would like to get one more 1-5 draft pick.

They are so close.  Maybe one year of experience will put them over the top.  Maybe the young guns down on the farm will put them over the top.  

That's why IMO, an Eichel chance may not be the worst try.  Depending on who they have to give up of course.  Like I wouldn't give up any of our say top 10 in prospects.  And definitely not Z or Drysdale or McTavish.  But the Ducks have some intriguing very young players on the fringe that if the Sabres bite on wouldn't really affect the long term, even if Jack is jack sh.  But if Jack is Jack, that would put us over the top IMO.

This is surprising.  8 points in 18 games last season.  I thought he was fine in the third line roll with Jones.

Like Henrique, It doesn't seem to be about skill level. It's probably something about the person they don't like. And, I don't think Bob is a Russian player kind of guy (Just going by the last 13 years).

That was their best game of the season and probably best game in a long time. Jets got lucky coming out of there without a loss - and they know it.
