He's gotten more efficient in the last couple innings. 

Canning has that Weavery quality where after he gives up a HR, he zones in and strikes dudes out.

It's just stupid at this point. 2-2 count and he isn't even close to challenging a hitter. Someone needs to smack him upside the head and get him to end every at bat with no more than five pitches, preferably four. This guy will never amount to anything giving away pitcher's  counts.

Yes, Taylor, you can't see how crappy he really is and the Royals are just helping him swinging 3-2, not a single one of those pitches were strikes. This is the Royals getting themselves out because they are contact first, low discipline hitters. Canning isn't fooling them, they are being fools.

Damn Griffin got him to swing at a good 1-2 pitch in the zone and he still managed to get on base and the count wasn't even full. Crazy how baseball works.

Giving away outs is neat. Almost as neat as wasting outs that are given away to us.

Is there some post Covid19 rule that is keeping teams from recalling people not on the taxi squad?  Because FFS, there are better options available and it makes no sense they haven't called them up.
