Looking through our prospects I forgot how excited I am for Davis Daniel. Pretty incredible season he had despite the tough ending in Salt Lake. First year back from injury but do you guys think we should prepare that he will be working in the low 90's from now on or he can still gain some of that velo back?

Prepare for him to be pitching for the Cardinals with DeJong as our shortstop.

I think he'll have a really interesting year. He's working on adding a changeup I believe. He throws a ton of fastballs with great command. He attacks. Just think there needs to be some secondary development for him to truly find success, otherwise he might switch more to relief, especially if the velo creeps back up. Curious if he's in AAA all season!

Seems like the Angels signed OF Trey Cabbage, a minor leaguer from the Twins org. He'll be 25 next season, 6'3", 200, former 4th rounder who hits left-handed. 

He hit 20 doubles and 27 HR last year between A+ and AA, slashing .264/.346/.535/.881 with 47 BB and 160 K, easily his most productive minor league season.

Almost exclusively at RF last year, but saw some time at 1B too.

Replaces Izzy Wilson or Orlando Martinez if he gets plucked in the R5 (unlikely)...could be at AA or AAA depending on performance and who else is here come Opening Day.
