I have tinnitus myself. Apparently not as bad as that guy had it.

My ears constantly ring. Sometimes it's worse than at other times.

There are different causes. My condition is no doubt the result of working on jets in the military and too many loud concerts.

I guess I'm used to it, but my hearing is degraded.

Some people use biofeedback therapy to cope with the effects.

Understandable if you had no issues and then suddenly you had severe tinnitus it could affect your sanity.

I have it also and it can be a real pain at times. Mine was from years working in a body shop.  Using the air hammer to cut off panels nobody ever thought about ear plugs in the day.  I went to an ENT specialist and he gives me a low dose type of valium.  I only take it when the ringing gets bad but it does help quiet it down.  Less Sybil's show up also.

I’m not really sure what’s confusing here.  The tinnitis was a result of the Covid sickness.  And they aren’t calling it a covid death.  They said it’s a suicide.  I guess you guys know better about all of this though.  <hard eye roll>

They say some people who had covid are showing signs of tinnitus.  There are some real experts on here that is for sure.  Guy a know, a fireman who has zero body fat, works out all day, doesn't drink or smoke now has a heart problem as they found something giving a yearly work exam.  He is going to survive but they are blaming it as a side effect of, you guessed it, having covid.  That is what the cardiologist who is treating him said anyway, you guys probably do know better.

you know, as i sit here contemplating how i'm going to spend the rest of my spring break this week, it occurs to me that i have yet to go for a scenic ride with you in your little british roadster. what say you? we could hit one of the east-bound freeways and visit another county. and if you wouldn't mind, we could stop somewhere for a quick trip as i need some new sweat socks and toiletries.

Sorry my friend but I'm headed to Arizona for three days of golf. Let's set a date for next year and we can certainly swing by the Costco.

Heart problems are well known side effect of Covid.  Look at Cals, he got it, and since then he has no heart.

A team in China said it’s been given the green light to begin developing an inhaled version of its COVID-19 vaccine, Reuters reported. CanSinoBIO and the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology recently won emergency use approval in Hungary for its injectable vaccine, Convidecia.

The recently issued EUA follows approval already given by Pakistan and Mexico.

"We are pleased to see the authorization by the Hungarian authority for our vaccine, which marks an important step forward in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic," Dr. Xuefeng YU, CanSinoBIO’s chairman and chief executive officer, said following Hungary’s EUA. "As CanSinoBIO continues to receive approvals from various governments across different continents, we are focusing on ramping up production capacity to deliver our one-shot vaccines quickly and safely to countries that are in desperate need of mass protection from this pandemic."

The company had not yet published a news release regarding the inhaled version of the vaccine. Previous trials involving the injectable product had shown 95.47% efficacy in preventing severe COVID-19 disease two weeks post-vaccination, according to the company.

Regeneron, Roche's antibody cocktail cuts COVID-19 hospitalizations, deaths by 70%, company says

A combination monoclonal antibody cocktail produced by Regeneron and Roche has shown to reduce hospitalization or death in COVID-19 patients by as much as 70%, a press release posted Tuesday said. The combo therapy, dubbed REGEN-COV, was being evaluated in a Phase 3 trial involving high-risk non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

REGEN-COV is comprised of casirivimab with imdevimab, and has already received emergency use authorization from the FDA in the U.S. Under the current EUA, the combo therapy is approved to treat non-hospitalized adults and adolescents with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and who are at high risk for developing severe symptoms or the need for hospitalization.

The currently authorized dosage is 1,200 mg of casirivimab and 1,200 mg of imdevimab administered together as a single infusion within 10 days of symptom onset.

So the news finally mentioned the people in Miami causing all the problems weren’t really kids on Spring Break and are really just thousands upon thousands of black people that descended on Miami in unison.  Maskless and lawless, they’re fucking shit up.

And why, did the news actually mention the true identity of these pandemic ignoring revelers?

Why police racism of course!

They seem to be more concerned about noise cannons than what happened to this girl

My covid shot update after all.  Found a different place closer at UT Dallas.  About 60 people showed up to one of their halls same time I did, had students it appeared running all the stations and into get your shot.  I was needle in arm in 15 minutes even with that many people at once. Pretty pretty efficient operation. I didn't even stay in the observation room, asked where the restroom was at and bailed.

I think there’s 2 points with the Miami stuff.

1: the suggestion that that concerns about what ? 10’s of thousands of dumb asses clustering together to do partying at a fairly critical time during this pandemic is justified.  The “racist” assertions are pretty incredible.  What a crock of bullshit.

2: Florida’s generally cavalier attitude towards the pandemic is mostly responsible for people behaving this way.

anyway, Florida and 20 some odd other states are seeing the numbers go the wrong way.  Surprise.  Hopefully we have enough people vaccinated that it doesn’t matter.  But maybe we will get that extra surge.  Wonderful.

That is a large leap of logic on your second point.

On your last point, Montana numbers are not increasing

If Florida wasn’t “open” then I doubt 100,000 black people would have gone to Miami.  I’m pretty sure that’s what he is saying.  You can’t argue for shit to be open and then complain when shit is open and people are taking advantage of it being open.

The state of Florida is open. The city of Miami Beach is who's trying to enforce a curfew.

In truth there are as many people in Montana as there are Spring Break parties in Florida.

If you open it they will come.

You think the good people of Miami want 100,000 black people running around like crazy people?  They must be related to the good people of Portland that enjoy 10,000 antifas burning their city.

Maybe they choose to be inclusive and celebrate diversity?
