Well, considering, NO Variants have an individual test to see if you have them.

And the PCR test sheds out False Positives. I've had 3 and ZERO anything and I haven't been sick since December 2019. Which is when My Respiratory Specialist believes I had it.. The CDC is "retiring" (used loosely) the use of the PCR Test as accurate collection of Data as of December 31st, 2021.

I've had friends and family friends who have passed from Covid. But, previously, I've known people who have passed from Influenza and pneumonia also...

This link is when I had my initial infection and Even my Pulmonary Specialist didn't know what it was... He called it a Lung Irritation that had NOT become pneumonia at the time.

And RallyMo, My Doctor is the one that advised me that there was no designated test for each Variant. Show me proof/or a link to/of one that can dictate the Variants in order since October 13th, 2021 when I last saw him.

That says nothing about PCR being invalid.

Why are they retiring it? When the PCR TEST was giving False Positives and Negatives for the entirety of the time it was used.

Because no one gets the Original Now? Only Variants are out there... Show me your proof of a Variant Test? I'll wait!

Also, it takes time to do the science and most of the time the strain of whatever you are after has to show itself before you can generate something to find it. Same as the Common FLU SHOT 3 strains that have been around NOT NEW FLU'S. And then Poof! A New one or a stronger variant of another one.

I just got finished standing in line for about 45 minutes and it’s freezing just to get a PCR test That i really don’t need

stood in line? how pedestrian.

we've got several drive-thru places around me. it's as easy as can be. the only time i got tested without a drive-thru was when i was in the ER back in november.
