Why not him for pitching coach? The guy's got common sense and he's not afraid of speaking the truth about the nonsense which passes for baseball 'wisdom' these days. Good communicator too.

Mickey Callaway just got canned by the Mets.

He was a bad manager, but was an outstanding pitching coach in the AL for Cleveland. He has that quirky personality like Maddon, so I could see them hitting it off well. 

He also has history with Maddon and the Angels in 2002, getting a ring.
