I think I see it a lot in the last decade or so... anything a fielder touches but doesn't covert into an out is an error, while anything they don't touch is a hit. I don't really remember it being this way in the 90's but that's hard for me to say.

Fun fact from the home booth at T-Mobile: Seattle leads MLB in pitchers giving up double digit runs. 13 games so far this season. Baltimore is next in the AL with 9. Pittsburgh has 11.

Read this on Lookout Landing the other day and forgot to post:

If you locked somebody naked in a foam room with enough food to survive

but not particularly interesting food and a toilet and a protected TV with Mariners baseball on it starting with opening day of the 2004 season, playing nonstop with the volume at a reasonable level, I wonder how long it would be before they drowned themselves in the toilet?
